All Pokémon inside red eggs in Pokémon Go October 2020

A new egg for you to hatch.
This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

You can obtain a new egg in Pokémon Go, and it’s a complicated item to get. Usually, you receive eggs by spinning Poké Stop or Gym discs in the world, or you receive them from gifts your friends send you. The new strange egg, also called the red egg due to the outer coloration, is something you can only receive by taking down one of the three Team Rock leaders: Sierra, Arlo, or Cliff. You have to have an egg slot available in your inventory to receive it.

All of the game’s eggs have a required walking distance trainers need to reach before they hatch. Strange eggs have the most extended requirement reaching up to 12-kilometers. Previously, the longest amount had you walking 10-kilometers, so it’s not significantly more. What can potentially hatch inside of these eggs?

As of October 2020, these are the Pokémon that can hatch from these eggs:

  • Absol
  • Deino
  • Larvitar
  • Sandile
  • Scraggy
  • Trubbish
  • Pawniard
  • Vullaby

Sandile, Pawniard, and Vullaby are the brand new Dark-type Pokémon that released for the Season Change: Part 2 event, surrounding the latest Team Rocket research event, An Inter-egg-sting Development, which directly pits players against Team Rocket members. By the end, trainers will have to face off against Giovanni and his Shadow Mewtwo.

We can expect the strange eggs to have new Pokémon in the future, and it will likely surround a new event in Pokémon Go.
