  • Sony to stop selling PSP Development kits from November 15

    This is just like adding fuel to the fire, already there has been many rumors regarding PSP2, now SCEE has informed to all developers via a notice that they will not be selling the PSP development kit after November 15.


    The reason given out by SCEE is that the certification is going to expire for the current development kit

    "Due to the certification on the current development and test tools expiring, we will be stopping selling them on November 15,”.

    “However, we will continue to provide loan stock for registered and new developers, until a new certified model is available."

    Here is what the notice reads which is giving to one of the Spanish distributor SCEE will no longer be selling the PSP development tool (dtp-t2000a) or testing tool (dtp-h2500a) and those that are in need of the kits should order them in advance before November 15 hits. Sony will then advise developers when a new model becomes available.

  • Activision and Marvel Announce X-Men: Destiny

    X-Men Fans this one if for you, Activision and Marvel announced a new X-Men game title called X-Men: Destiny which will be coming out Fall 2011.

    Details are very slim at the moment about the game, the only thing reveal is that in X-Men: Destiny gamers will be casts as a new recruit in rich, branching storyline that features a deep element of choice and gives players ultimate control of their destiny.

  • Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood Sienna map to be revealed soon

    After getting such a great response to Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood Beta, Ubisoft has announced that they have decided to unlock the new Sienna map for Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood for all the participants.

    Giving out the details of it on the official facebook page of the game Ubisoft said that participant will be able to have an access to Sienna Map once they complete five millions kills.

    Here is what the official facebook page of the game reads:

    "Attention Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood Beta participants! We are very excited to see the awesome response from our fans! As a thank you for the incredibly valuable Beta feedback you have submitted, we have decided to unlock the Sienna map once you have reached five million kills! You’re almost there, so we expect to see you crush this objective in the next couple of days!"

  • Wii Remote Plus Release in Japan on November 11

    Last Week at their Japanese press conference Nintendo officially confirmed Wii Remote Plus, now today they reveal the price and release details of it for Japan.

    Wii Remote Plus will be coming out in Japan next month (November 11) in four colors white, black, blue and red and it will be available for  ¥3,800. On the same day Nintendo is planning to release a red colored Nunchuck controller for ¥1,800

  • Nintendo To Release Pokemon Black & White DSi in Japan

    Pokemon Black & White have already been a huge success in Japan selling more than 3.7 million units since its release. Now Nintendo is going to release a new a special Pokemon Black & White DSi units in Japan to celebrate this success.

    There will be two Pokemon based DSi system one Black and the other one White both featuring some concept art on front. It will be coming out in Japan on November 20 for a price tag of ¥19,800

  • Super Mario Collection Release on December 3 in Europe

    Super Mario Collection released details for Europe are out now. Nintendo just announced that Super Mario Collection will be coming out in Europe in December 3.

    Nintendo is releasing this Super Mario Collection to mark the 25 years of Mario, this collection will feature:

    • Super Mario Bros
    • Super Mario Bros 2
    • Super Mario Bros 3
    • Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels
    • Lots of Extra Collectables

    In Japan this Super Mario Collection will be coming out on October 21.

  • Dead Rising 2 DLC Release Date and Details Revealed

    Capcom has given out the release date and the details about the upcoming four new DLC pack for their recently released game title Dead Rising 2.

    Psychopath Theme Pack (Releasing on October 12, 2010):

    Psycho Chuck will be a zombie’s worst nightmare as his new “insane” look will make him more difficult to kill and give him a host of gruesome weapons including chainsaws, cleavers, axes and more. Zombies won’t stand a chance!

    Soldier of Fortune Theme Pack (Releasing on October 19, 2010)

    With the soldier costume, you can “Rambo out” with double ammo, increased shooting accuracy, more firepower and increased headshot accuracy.  Chuck will also have a new special attack when using automatic weapons, spraying zombies with a hail of bullets.

    Sports Theme Pack (Releasing on October 26, 2010)

    For all you sports fans out there, this pack’s for you. Chuck’s damage will increase with sports-themed weapons. The new sports weapons (golf balls, basketballs, etc.) bounce more before stopping, allowing you to hit tons of zombies in one throw.  Chuck also has a new charge/tackle attack for taking zombies down in the ultimate blitz!

    With the Sports Theme Pack, Chuck will also earn more from gambling, gain more health while eating and drinking (especially alcoholic drinks) and not get sick from drinking too much…

    Ninja Theme Pack (Releasing on November 2, 2010)

    Ninja Chuck will have a new “stealth mode” where the zombies have to be much closer to him to detect his presence. This gives Chuck the upper hand as he is harder to grab and be taken down by hoards of the undead.

    Chuck’s damage is increased with sword-type weapons (broadswords, katanas, etc.) that have new special attacks. Stackable items and throwing items (nails, plates, gems, etc.) will also do more damage and Chuck’s throwing speed is increased.

  • Vanquish Weapons Trailer

    Again SEGA has released a trailer for Vanquish, this time deals with the weapons in the game.

  • Namco Bandai announces Dragon Ball demo for PS3, Xbox 360 and PSP

    Namco Bandai by Press release reveals that next week it will release a demo of Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. To say exact date demo will arrive on October 13th on the PNS and on October 14th on the Xbox LIVE.

    The single player demo of Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 includes four playable characters, namely Goku Super Saiyan, Majin Buu, Dabura and Ultimate Gohan. Each one equipped with special features. Players can fight in one of the two maps available in the demo, Rocky Land and Glacier.

    Coming tomorrow, the demo for Dragon Ball: Tenkaichi Tag Team, the ferocious tag fighter for PSP. In the demo, players will choose between Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, Krillin, Android #19 and Dr. Gero, taking them into battle on the ‘Islands’ map for a dose of ki-fuelled handheld action. As an exclusive treat for fans who play the demo, a special bonus item will be unlocked when the demo save data is read in the full version of the game.

  • SCEE Reveals Playstation Plus Content for October and November

    SCEE has reveal the details about the content that will be coming to Playstation Plus Subscriber between October 6 to November 2. Sony also said that there will be couple of surprise that will be coming on PS Plus in the same time period details of which will be announced in coming days.
