  • Split Second DEMO is now available on the Xbox Live Marketplace

    The demo for Black Rock Studio's upcoming arcade racer Split/Second: Velocity, available right now on Xbox LIVE Marketplace. Split/Second is now available to download from the Marketplace.

    PC and PS3 owners will receive the demo at a later date.

    Developed by Black Rock studios, Split/Second is due to arrive in the UK on May 23rd on 360, PS3 and PC platforms.

    Split/Second is an intense arcade racing game set within the universe of a mega-budget, prime-time reality TV show. Contestants race to be the 1st across the finish line in a made-for-TV city built for destruction, with the ultimate goal of becoming the season champion.     Are you one of those who has miss the Multiplayer weekend events because in the hay wire of the release of Grand Theft Auto: Episode form Liberty City for Playstation 3 and PC, don't worry because Rockstar is going to continue with some of the multiplayer session of Grand Theft and Red Dead Redemption.

    Starting from 27th April there will be online multiplayer mode gameplay of The Ballad of Gay Tony and The Lost and Damned on Playstation Network and for those who can't get their chance of play online their will be live streaming and Live chat at Social Club Multiplayer Event.

    •  The event will start with a game of Team Deatchmatch, For finding the member of Rockstar you first need to get yourself   into party of two, once done with this you have to make use of in-ame cellphone for selecting Game->Team Deathmatch.
    •  You can't directly get yourself into the gameplay, you are require to follow each and every action happening at Social Club   Multiplayer Events Page, there will be a Live streaming of the gameplay along with a chat box which can be use by you to     have an discussion with the other gamers.
    •  Finding Rockstar team is easy, as you get into Team Deathmatch you will get yourself automatically in to special lobby   where Rockstar team and other gamers will be present.
    •  As event progress there will be more multiplayer play and also a shifting to The Ballad of Gay Tony almost around half   point. So be update on the chat box.

  • Steam UI update available now

    Valve just announced that the next version of Steam is now available. The new Steam UI is here, which enhances the way you already buy and play games, adding more info about the things that matter — getting games, playing them with friends, and staying current in the gaming world.

    If you haven't already updated, you can use the "Check for Steam client updates" option on the "File" menu to automatically update Steam to the new release. If you don't have Steam installed, download it today. The update includes a ton of new features. To save time, here’s what you’ll get:

    • Complete overhaul of Steam client UI design to improve discoverability of features and to better expose all the information related to games in your library

    • New game details view, presenting a detailed view of all the information for a single game in your library
    • New grid view, presenting a graphical view of your game library

    • Display of total played time in the client game details view and the in-game overlay
    • Type to jump support in the games list, grid, and game details views
    • Better Steam cloud conflict resolution support, with the ability for users to choose how to resolve conflicts between machines
    • Improved forward/backward navigation in the client UI, acting across various different view types (e.g., games list, to community, back to games list)
    • New style and layout system for Steam’s VGUI UI toolkit, enabling much more complicated flowing layouts. Skins will need major overhauls to be compatible with the new client, but will also have much more power and flexibility available to them via the new .style and .layout files used in the new VGUI code.
